Economist & President of Positive Planet

Jacques Attali was born on the 1st of November 1943. Graduate from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale d’Administration, he was the Special Adviser to French President François Mitterrand during 10 years.
He founded 5 International Institutions: Action against hunger, Eureka, EBRD, Microcred Group and Positive Planet Foundation.
Positive Planet Foundation is one of the most important worldwide Institution of support to microfinance. Positive Planet has supported more than 10 million micro-entrepreneurs.
He taught economics in many universities, such as Ecole Poltytechnique and Paris Dauphine. He advises many government leaders and CEO around the world on long term issues and strategical changes, such as technology, social behaviour and environment.
Jacques Attali has written 67 books sold in 7 million copies and translated in to 22 languages as well as more than 1000 op-eds in the french magazine l’Express. He conducts several orchestras over the world (Paris, Geneva, London, Jerusalem, Shanghai, Astana and Montreal)
